Hotfooted Ladies Shoes raises £730

Bluebells staff and Chairman were delighted today when, just after Henley Mayor, Cllr Sarah Miller had finished judging the Easter Bonnet competition, we were joined by Nadieh Hodgson, of Hotfooted Ladies Shoes, who presented us with a cheque for an amazing £730 which she had raised for Bluebells Day Centre at a Charity Sale held at the Phyllis Court Club on March 31st.

Mayor of Henley Cllr Sarah Miller, Nadieh Hodgson, Chairman Glen Lambert and Day Centre Manager, Souri Poulos, receiving the donation.

Nadieh said: “Hotfooted has attended and supported charity fundraising events at Phyllis Court for many years. We have a large and loyal following of lady members who also like to support local charities. As Phyllis Court Club isn’t hosting any charity fairs presently, we decided to organise one ourselves in aid of Bluebells Day Centre.”

Nadieh added: “We’d like to thank The Relais Henley, Bijan’s Kitchen restaurant, The Regal Picturehouse Cinema and Waitrose for their very generous raffle prizes.”

Bluebells Day Centre would like to express our sincere gratitude to Nadieh for her effort and generosity.
