All of us at Bluebells Day Centre were over the moon to be presented with this incredible cheque for £2309.56 by Michaela Clarke of the Henley Herald on Monday.
The money was raised at the at the Herald’s 10th Anniversary Community Champion Awards party, held at Henley Rugby Club on Friday 2nd of February. The Henley Herald select a local charity each year as the beneficiary of funds raised at the awards party through ticket sales, donations and a raffle with prizes kindly donated by Henley Festival, Brakspear, Henley Rugby Club and The Relais hotel, and we couldn’t be happier to be this years recipient. Thank you so much!
We are deeply moved to learn that this donation was the largest donation ever raised at the Community Champion Awards so we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all those that attended the party and made the evening such a success.
