The Mayor of Henley-on-Thames, Councillor Glen Lambert, who led the project to re-establish Bluebells, today officially cut the ribbon to formally open the Day Centre.
Bluebells & Christ Church Staff, trustees, Mayoress Anna Lambert and Louise Hastings from Henley Town Council all attended the launch event along with local press.
The first session of the new Bluebells Day Centre actually took place on April 25th but trustees took the decision to allow staff and guests two weeks to settle before staging a formal launch event.
Christ Church Centre cook, Donna Pritchett, baked a beautiful Bluebells themed cake for the occasion which the Mayor managed to cut into about 20 slices for everyone present and Bluebells guests.
With thanks to the Henley Standard for allowing us to use their launch party photo which features Julia Hayes, Kim Wedderburn, Julia Yeo, Rob Lazzaro, Anna Lambert, Glen Lambert, Louise Hastings, Hannah Leamy, David Skinner, Vanessa Bird & Suri Poulos.
